Welcome to Temple Beth El of North Bergen New Jersey. We are an evolving conservative synagogue based in traditional Jewish faith. We have both mixed seating and a kosher machitzah for more formal members. We are located in the Park district of North Bergen on 75th Street at Hudson Avenue - just three blocks west of Boulevard East. Our congregants are both young and old, new to town or lifelong residents. A small tour of our area is below. To give you an idea of where we are located within Hudson County, here is a little map of who our neighbors are, in order for us to serve our larger congregational family....

Near us are Edgewater, and the Boulevard-East Tower Communities North Bergen, The Galaxy, The Parker Imperial, Stonehenge, The Summit House, The Versailles, Jacob's Ferry/Bull's Ferry, Avalon, Riverwalk, Henley on The Hudson, Riverbend, The Hudson Club, Four Seasons, Westwood, Riviera Towers, Watermark, City Place, One Hudson Park, Mariner's Place, Lincoln Harbor, The Mirabella, Half Moon Harbor, Rock Harbor, other Edgewater communities, West New York, Fairview, Cliffside Park, Union City and Secaucus; , with their breathtaking views of Manhattan - emerging as the new mini-metropolitan suburb of New York City.

Just North of us are Fairview and Cliffside Park and Woodcliffe Gardens -communities being re-developed as 'must-have' real estate. The synagogue itself is just three (3) short blocks to North Hudson Park. When visitors see how beautiful this park really is, they immediately begin to plan how they will move closer to us!

To our South is West New York (New Jersey!) - Weehawken, and Union City,  -  which have become havens for New Yorkers who wanted to get 'just off the island, but stay close'.

And to our West are North Bergen's business development enterprise and Secaucus areas with world-famous shopping outlets, in a large zone for developing businesses of all sizes.
